Services: The clinic provides outpatient mental health services, including diagnostic assessment, psychological testing, psychopharmacology, pediatric consultation, individual, group and family therapy. Specialized parent training and counseling, community based substance abuse prevention for treatment of male juvenile sexual offenders (10 – 17 years of age).

These services are provided to students ages 3 to 21 who live in West Haven and qualify through the PPT process and need any of the above services.

Cost: Base upon income and family size – fee ranges from $8.00 - $131.00

Services: Daycare – developmental program for preschool children of West Haven. Concentrate on emotional, social, physical education and health service needs. Beyond daycare services – act as referral service for children. Provide training to staff through workshops and in-service training sessions. The Child Development Center works with the Adult Daycare Center through a series of inter-generational activities.
Preschool Program hours: mornings, Mon. – Fri. 9:00 am – 11:30 am; afternoons, Mon. – Fri. 12:40 pm – 3:10 pm; ages 3 – 5; fee $25.00.

Services: provide awareness and educational programs through various media’s.
Examples of programs: Walkathon, Community Health & Wellness Fair, Middle & High School Media Motivational Program, distribute literature to schools and other community groups, Sponsor varies groups, ie: Police Department D.A.R.E. Program, High School Drug Free Graduation Program, High School S.A.D.D. Program, as well as other civic groups, ie; girls softball and boys fundamental basketball.

Services: A collaborative of community social service agencies who meet every two weeks to review referrals and cases, determine need and formulate solutions to assist identified children and their families. Care Coordinator will provide case management services (level III) to children and youth returning to the West Haven community from residential placements. The goal is to safety maintain children and youth within the community who have been identified as high risk children with special needs.

Services: Multidisciplinary Team Model
Psychiatric and psychological assessment and treatment to children and adults. Various therapy modalities are individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, couples, family sibling, mediation maintenance and case management. Drug and alcohol abuse treatment are referred to a specialized unit at the Connecticut Mental Health Center.

Services: The D.A.R.E. Program provides classroom education to K-2 grade, 5th grade and middle school ages students regarding substance abuse/use. Other programs: D.A.R.E. Officers speak to school and civic groups, participate in Health and Wellness functions, run special programs ie; middle school crisis program, work with Head Start children, 911 Emergency program for 3rd and 4th grade students citywide, mini D.A.R.E. program for Kindergarten students, etc. Co-sponsors Summer Adolescent Activities Program with the Youth Service Bureau.
